Σημερινές Καιρικές Συνθήκες και Κίνδυνος Πυρκαγιάς

Σήμερα Κυριακή (27.07.2027) αναμένουμε μια ακόμη ημέρα με υψηλές θερμοκρασίες, καθώς ο καύσωνας συνεχίζεται.Από αύριο, ωστόσο, θα αρχίσει σταδιακά να υποχωρεί η θερμοκρασία με την ελπίδα ότι μέσα στην εβδομάδα θα υπάρξει μια ευχάριστη δροσιά.

Η θερμοκρασία σήμερα παραμένει σε ανησυχητικά επίπεδα, με τον υδράργυρο σε κάποιες περιοχές να φτάνει τους 44 βαθμούς Κελσίου και γενικά πάνω από τους 40.

• Ανατολικά Ηπειρωτικά: 40 – 41 βαθμούς Κελσίου.
• Δυτικά Ηπειρωτικά: 38 βαθμούς Κελσίου.
• Aθήνα: 40 – 41 βαθμούς Κελσίου.
• Θεσσαλονίκη: 38 – 39 βαθμούς Κελσίου.
• Nησιά του Ανατολικού Αιγαίου & Δωδεκάνησα: 37 – 39 βαθμούς Κελσίου.
• Kρήτη: έως και 37 βαθμούς Κελσίου.
• Nησιά Ιονίου: περίπου στους 35 βαθμούς Κελσίου.

Kίνδυνος Πυρκαγιάς

The risk of fire remains high today as nearly three-quarters of the contry is on orange alert for fire hazards.Areas facing meaningful danger include: the Ionian Islands, Western Greece, Peloponnese, Central Greece, Attica, Epirus, Western Macedonia (Florina, Kastoria, Kozani), eastern Macedonia and Thrace (Evros), Thessaly (Magnesia, Larissa), Rhodes and Crete.

This situation has prompted local authorities and relevant services to remain on heightened alert in these “orange” zones to prevent any potential disasters from wildfires.

The weather will generally be clear today with some temporary clouds developing over the northern regions during midday – afternoon hours where there is a slight chance of brief showers in mountainous areas. Winds will blow from the northwest at speeds of about four to six Beaufort in western areas; while initially blowing from northern directions at three to five Beaufort in eastern regions with locally stronger winds up to six Beaufort in the Aegean Sea during morning hours; shifting later to sea breezes around three to four Beaufort with slight strengthening at night reaching up to six Beaufort.
The temperature is expected to drop slightly in western parts but will remain elevated in eastern regions.
