Νέα Ηχητικά Ντοκουμέντα από την Τραγωδία στα Τέμπη
Δύο χρόνια έχουν περάσει από την τραγική σύγκρουση των τρένων στα Τέμπη, ωστόσο νέα ηχητικά ντοκουμέντα συνεχίζουν να αποκαλύπτουν τις φρικτές στιγμές που βίωσαν οι επιβάτες της επιβατικής αμαξοστοιχίας. Σε πρόσφατη δημοσίευση του MEGA, ακούγεται μία μητέρα να συνομιλεί με τηλεφωνήτρια του 112, ζητώντας πληροφορίες σχετικά με τη μετωπική σύγκρουση και αναφέροντας όσα πρόλαβε να της πει ο γιος της στο τηλέφωνο πριν τον εγκλωβισμό του.

Aμέσως μετά την καταστροφή, το τηλεφωνικό κέντρο δέχεται πληθώρα κλήσεων από αγωνιώδεις συγγενείς και επιβάτες που ζητούν βοήθεια.

Dramatic Moments After the Collision
The minutes that followed were filled with distressing calls for help as injured passengers sought assistance. “There’s a fire!” Recently released audio captured a conversation between a survivor adn a dispatcher from the emergency line.

SURVIVOR :The train heading to Thessaloniki derailed and crashed…It’s on fire now and I managed to escape.
Téléphoniste 112 :Pou êtes-vous maintenant?
SURVIVOR :I’m not sure of my exact location but it’s just past Larissa.
Téléphoniste 112 :You are just past Larissa? How many people are with you?
SURVIVOR :A lot of people! The whole train is destroyed but I’ve managed to get out along with others.
An Unfortunate Coincidence?
The report from Hellenic Train regarding the incident at Tembi has already been submitted to authorities and indicates that the explosion and subsequent fire were unfortunate coincidences. According to information revealed in “NEA”, it appears that during the collision, high-voltage cables may have severed and fell onto a transformer containing three tons of silicone oil—leading to catastrophic flames.
As researchers prepare their final report on this railway disaster considering recent findings reported by “Kathimerini”, they do not anticipate any meaningful changes from their preliminary assessment suggesting that silicone oils led directly to this deadly explosion.
However, expert Achilleas Michopoulos appointed by victims’ families presents an option view stating: “The material responsible for creating the fireball was exclusively aromatic hydrocarbons—extremely flammable substances akin in volatility and ignition temperature comparable to gasoline—with an estimated quantity aboard reaching between 12.8 up to18 tons.”
